Anyone have thoughts on running a Shorrock blower in the USA? (A-series engined Sprite/Midget...) Check out the link;

It would probably be best on a stock 948 with low compression. Superchargers are too much for the high compression 1275 and they cause all kinds of problems that are a real pain to address. Shorrocks are rare and pricey but it sure would be neat to see one run.

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and got here by doing a search on Shorrock Supercharger.
Reason is that I have a Shorrock on an A-series manifold which I was hoping to sell (happy to post to the US!) as life has changed and I am due to be a Dad for the first time soon and so as I have sold my Mini project which this was going to go onto I can't justify to keep this 'just in case' I managed to get hold of another project in the future.
There is a photo of the unit at: http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn80 ... 030811.jpg
I also have a race head for an A-series engine, photo at: http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn80 ... ihead2.jpg
Well I hope someone may be interested, many thanks, Andy.
