It goes on the door frame starting on the A-pillar, goes across the sill and then up the b-pillar. I used it on my mk III sprite. It just sort of slips onto the sheet metal lip and doesn't require additional clips.

I don't care for it though. It is a bit too thick and causes my doors to stick out a bit at the bottom.
