Anyone - will a '62 dash fit in a '59 Bugeye??

The '62 dash should fit no problem.

The later metal dash from roll-up window cars ('64-'67), however, is not a direct bolt-in. I had a bugeye for a while that had been fitted with a later dash by a PO, and it had been trimmed a little to fit.

Thanks for the insight. I have a later dash laying around and was wondering if I should try it in one of my cars. In some ways, I like the later dash compared to the flat roadster dash. (Anyone need a later dash?) Later, SpridgetBoy

I wouldn't mind looking into a 64-66 dash to go in my 69. Is 64-66 "later"?

The 64-67 dash will just about bolt in to a 68 on Spridget.
BUT...You also need the 64-67 dash crash pad and you have to drill 2 holes in the top cowl but if you use caridge bolts, they are well hidden by the windshield frame and crash pad..
Also the signal/headlamp and wiper switches will no longer fit the dash.
I just used the 64-67 steering column and switches.
I am running that in my 73. and have done it to 3 or 4 Sprites in the past..
I just don't like those padded 68> dashes.
