old Mk2 sprite

Postby rowan » Sat Mar 17, 2012 7:26 pm

Hi everyone. I have a Mk2 sprite, 1275cc. It has been in my garage for over 20 years and hasn't been touched. It was working fine when I put it in, and I'm wondering what i would have to do to it before I try to start it for the first time in ages. It was last on the road in 1988, so it may have signs of ageing. Also, the key may of been mislaid over the years, so I was wondering the best was to get it started. Thanks in advance. Also, any info on the 1275cc Mk2 sprite would be appreciated, because this seems to be a strange variant, and there doesn't seem to be much info on the web about it.

Correction, it is a Mk4 sprite, I had my numbers mixed up, though the first question still stands...
