Anyone have more info on the Pride & Clark hardtop?

Were they produced in England (or??)

Original price?

Total number manufactured?

Years produced?

(I still think it's a neat looking hardtop)

Hallo Dan.
it's a very old thread I know. I found it by incident.
I just got an old Dan Dare Hardtop and I'm wondering how to fix it to my Frogeye. At the front there is some metal laminated but that's all.
Can anyone send me photo how to fix it to my car?
Where does the name come from (?) Perhaps its the rim of the helmet as it looks similiar to the rim underneath the window.
In the net I found something about Clarke & Pride.
They were a very great aftermarket dealer. As they were building motorcycle sidecars they knew how to work with GFK. They thougt there must be a market for Frogeye hardtops. So they built it.
I don't know the how many.
The http://frogeyespares.co.uk/item.asp?cID ... =2&iID=551 still or again are buildung it.
