WTB: RHD Bugeye

So I'm the hunt for another Sprite (after selling my beloved Tunebug a couple years ago). This time I'm looking specifically for a driver-quality RHD Bugeye -- not a conversion but one that is originally RHD. Prefer one in the USA or Canada, but I'm willing to be flexible for the right car.

There is no difference in the actual body between the LHD and RHD cars, all the correct holes are already there, including the steering rack mounts and bulkhead hole. Parts needed to swap over are a RHD steering rack, RHD dashboard and steering wheel plinth (which I have been told is not symmetrical to the LHD plinth) and the shorter clutch and brake lines from the Master Cylinder. The dash and plinth are hard to find, but possible on UK ebay site. I have been looking for 6 months and seen two up for grabs...and missed both ! You can get a fiberglass dash from a few places, like Archers Garage in the UK available on the Sebring Spite site http://www.sebringsprite.com/pricelist.html

All other components are an easy change over - pedal box and Master cylinder swap for blanking plate, accelerator pedal, high beam dipswitch etc. Drivers side Seat rails can be swapped for passenger side fixed mounts, but lever will be on the wrong side. May be easier to find a RHD set on eBay UK and have both as sliders.

All guages and switches are the same, choke and starter remain in same relative position so both are straight shots. The wiring harness should be long enough to just loop back on itself. In fact, I purchased a new harness from AH Spares in the UK for my bugeye and they actually say its for both LHD and RHD cars.
