If you go to http://www.youtube.com and search Austin Healey Conclave... You will find videos from Conclave 2008. I particularly like the first place Bugeye video!!!

Hi Dom: Congradutions on taking 1st place....it makes me sorry now that I decided to "go stock" on the '59 which is my current "work in progress". The party of the second part keeps saying ...."you can make it like Dom's racer!". However, the stock route is the way we started(ever though the SU s have been replaced by a Webber downdraft)....so that's the way we'll finish. The next one we'll keep as a seroius driver('88 Testarosa) and when it reaches antique status, hopefully most of the "race" will be out of me.
Agian, congrats on a fine bit of work and a fine automobile!

Thanks Hawk11, Aside from the paint, the car is pretty stock. Yes, There is the supercharger, but that's even period correct. I have the letter from Judson in my trailer with the reply to a question about the supercharger dated January 1960. But everything else down to the steering arms painted two tone is correct. I think that's what gets people about the car. It's stock but it has just that little bit different look that appeals to both the purest and the racer.
