Seeking help with installing replacement sun visor clips

I recently purchased new sun visor clips for a 1978 Midget. Does anyone know how these mount? I'm having problems taking off the old ones. There are two small, round holes on each clip. Not sure what they are for.

Subsequent post:
I have been told in another forum that the visor bracket mounts are connected via rivets and that I should drill the rivets out and, using stainless steel sheet metal screws, mount the new visor brackets.
