ALFA acronym: What are the real words from which ALFA was derived ??

ALFA = Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili

Talk about switching letters, When I was in the service we changed the letters on the front and trunk of a friends 62 rambler convertable and he could never figure out why everyone called him M A R B L E R .
