Quest for a Bugeye Hardtop in Northern California

I am looking for a good used hardtop for my 1960 bugeye to get it ready for the winter rains. It can be the original type or the after market versions since my only concern is to keep the rain out. I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been searching ebay but the thought of shipping a fiberglass hardtop across the U.S. scares me. The idea of a flatened hardtop arriving at my door is all too real. I would prefer a local pick up some where in Northern or Central California. It can be a fixer as long as it has the glass intact.
Any help in finding one would be very much appreciated.

I live in Glendora, If someone wants I can pick it up for them and ship it (your dime) I have a crate that was made for my top for shipping I can send it in. Let me know

You guys are the best. Thanks for the shipping offer but the "Glendora" top needs the back glass and I have no idea where I would be able to get it or if anyone still makes it. If any one knows let me know and I will take you up on your shipping offer (on my dime) and try to make the winning bid.

Plexiglass is about the only thing you could use to replace to glass. Somebody out there must be able to bend the glass in the shape you need, but would probably cost too much... but if you get the top cheap enough, it might be worth it.

I'm going to check with some local auto glass shops today and get there input on cost.
I am also got a quote for a new "works" top (about $700/ 385 english pounds) and a "P&C " top(about $600 / 325 english pounds ) from Frogeye spares but he is going to get back to me on the shipping charge. I figured an exchange rate with the english pound at 1.8 dollars to the pound which should be close. If anyone knows the exact exchange rate please let me know. My math isn't what it used to be. Of course shipping across the world will make those numbers grow dramatically. Anyway I will check with the local auto glass people and see what they can do.

There is no exact rate in changes constantly and will vary bank to bank etc. as for shipping, Id be surprised if shipping doesn't cost almost as much as the top.
