Missing Nuts, (and bolts)

Postby mgilpat629 » Mon Sep 18, 2017 11:12 pm

I have a fairly strange problem that some of you may have had to deal with. My '65 Sprite has been apart for some time, and I have moved it from house to house, and garage to garage over the years. In the process, I have lost a lot of the fasteners to put it back together. In particular, and most obvious, I am missing the bolts to mount the clutch and flywheel, as well as the bolts to mount the engine to the transmission, and transmission/engine to the car. Does anyone know of a place that might sell this type of hardware in a kit, or know where I could find information about the correct hardware that I will need, (size, length, thread pitch, etc)? Thanks

Update - I was able to find an engine mount kit on Victoria British as well as the bolts and spring washers for the clutch plate.

It appears that Moss Motors has flywheel bolts, for 948 & 1098 engines.
Part # 322-500, $2.59 ea., where the four bolts attach the flywheel to the crankshaft.
