The original steering arms from Gilly's Mk.2 Sprite. After asking around, it appears this may have been a feature on late '59 Bugeyes, with widespread use during 1960 and beyond.

An original Mk.1 Sprite block (9C-U-H-10858). This was 'tuned' during 1971 and last used in 1972. It had been bored out 0.60", and line bored to incorporate 3 cam' bearings.
Following a strip down, the unit was found to be in excellent condition. It was chemically cleaned, new cam' bearings fitted, and the bores honed.
