The seat bases are pretty good. The rust is very light surface rust. I know that these are almost always rusted out especially the rear part.

The seat foam is still pretty good but I'll be getting new ones. Funny how they used, what I believe to be, 'cotton' to form the seat instead of forming the foam.

Here you can see that they used three types of padding on the bottoms. The seat backs didn't have any foam for padding as you can see in the following photos on page 2.

I removed the vinyl and the cushions from the seat bases. The rust looks at worse in the photos than they really are. This is the top side.

There was a small piece of vinyl on each of the front lower corners of the seat bases. I guess for reinforcement.
