Here's the engine number. I was told that this number and the VIN would make this engine very likely the one that came with the car from the factory. Maybe I'll know more after I get the Heritage Certificate.

Left Side of engine. This is what I got with the car. The head was off so there was allot of 'stuff' in the cylinders. The cylinders look worse than they are and I think I can get away with a hone but the bore is stock so I may go +20.

Cylinders are not so clean from the top view. If you enlarge this photo you'll see, in cylinder number two, rat teeth ........ RAT TEETH I TELL YA! I think the rat sat there and died then dissolved right there in the cylinder!!

I will be keeping the mechanical fuel pump as per staying factory. Otherwise I'd install an electric one.
