The armature. It will be rewound. There is a place right here in town (Star Electric) that has been here forever, I'm sure they can rewind this.

... Well I went to Star Electric today (11-23-09) and it turns out that they rebuild all kinds of Lucas electric stuff. Right here in town and I never knew! They have completely rebuilt (some NOS) Lucas items right on the shelf.

Lube point. There is a spring and a small piece of felt inside this long screw. The generator was green, engine color. So that answers one question.

Here's the brushes. One of the wires was broken off at the brush. I bet the PO had battery problems! :)

The pulley and the fan are both stright.

This is two of four Lucas spark plug lead caps that were in a box that came with the MK1.
