The discovery and subsequent 19 year restoration of the ex-Andrew Hedges, Williams & Pritchard bodied, alloy coupe - 410 EAO.

Back in 1988 or '89 I saw an MG in a garage. It was on jack stands the hood (bonnet) was off and looked like it needed help so I stopped to see if it was for sale, it was ..... for $1000, that was a little too much for me at the time so I passed. Fast forward to about twenty years later, October 2009, I drive by this house again and in the driveway was a huge dumpster, the people were cleaning up the house because the husband had passed away. Turns out he was a "pack rat" and didn't like to part with much, including .... the 1962 MG Midget STILL up on jack stands, (hood off and piles of "stuff" on top of it by now) that I asked about twenty years earlier! The wife sold it to me for 500 bucks! "Good Things Come To Those Who Wait" has an all new meaning to me :)
