Mystery Car - September 2004
Our September Mystery Car is a beauty, and quite rare, perhaps even more rare than our August Car! As always, discussion and guesses can be posted in the forums. Good luck!
This is striking sports car, with beautiful, flowing lines reminiscent of many of the European marques of the 1950's. Total production was quite low, and unfortunately, very few of these magnificient automobiles are known to have survived.
While the roadster version is the most common, there was at least one coupe produced.
The designer of our September Mystery Car was also involved with aircraft design and production (after creation of a single prototype, plans for aircraft production at a new factory were unfortunately halted), and has produced designs for bus dashboards, home skylights, mailboxes and ventilated boot soles as well.
